Here was located the old custom in Sandakan. Before plenty of wood vessels from Sulu were docked to load cargoes and passengers. Now not anymore this area is serve as sight seeing spot and also a car park. This area is one of the locations in Sandakan developed by the government suited to the demand of its peoples.
From here Sandakan town building are vividly seen. This beach though is not as cleanest as other beaches in other parts of Malaysia, peoples in Sandakan used to swim and do other activities with their families here. This is the only remaining beach near to town still extant.
Weekend is the time were a lot of people swimming on this beach.
